The church began in the home of Robert and Vivian Mc Elligott. Worship continued at the
Mc Elligott home until four years later the present site was discovered and Christ the King Episcopal Church was built in 1977.
A unique connection still remains between the the Beckett family and the church today. Kim Beckett is the granddaughter of the Mc Elligotts and along with her husband, John, and seven year old son, they continue to carry on the family tradition by participating in many aspects of the church.
